What is the TV provider? Do you have live channels? What is the internet like?

Great questions Brian! All 4 TVs are Roku smart TVs which have all streaming media platforms all preloaded, and a modern, simple interface to keep you from having to be frustrated while looking for your favorite shows. All TVs also have live local channels provided by DirecTV – Choice Package – which is paid for by us. Feel free to login to your favorite accounts, just don’t forget to logout! (with one exception…please don’t use your personal account on DirecTV because when you log out the next guest won’t have access to our live channels without us ‘logging back in’, thanks!)

I see your policy says no pets, it that absolutely set in stone?

Yes, it is…no pets allowed. The issue for us is more pet dander, since we have a child that is allergic. I’m a dog person also, but I can’t have any dogs right now for that reason. This policy is just easier for us to ensure that we don’t have any issues ourselves, and since we market the property as ‘no pets’ other guests will rely on that info that might have similar concerns.

We are looking to come up mid-January. We are hoping to see some snow. If it does snow is your cabin easily accessible or would 4×4 be needed?

So if there were to be snow in Georgia then Morganton would be likely to get some of it. As far as the road, it is paved all the way to the front door, but there are 2 steep areas that might be difficult in a heavy snow. In such a case, 4×4 would always be a plus.

The age range wanting to attend the cabin is 22-24 year olds. We were wondering if there is anyway we can work around this issue for us? I promise we have looked high and low to find the right cabin for us and this is the one.

Unfortunately we have to strictly enforce the 25-year old guest minimum. This is due to neighborhood regulations and Safety concerns. We’re sorry for the inconvenience!

This is our first trip like this and were kinda nervous. Will the cabin be in a gated community? We prefer this. Thanks!

Hi there! None of our cabins are in gated communities, but they are in neighborhoods with neighbors on each side. It’s a good mix of being out in the woods, but never too far from civilization. In the Heights is less than 10 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge, GA.

Is the cabin on a two lane road?

Yes ma’am. It can get a little tight, but two cars can pass each other. There’s about 15 cabins on the road, and you’re about 2/3 of the way up.

 We are planning to have four vehicles. Will we be able to squeeze them all in the driveway? Or is there another option for parking?

That’s a lot of vehicles! There is room for all of them though. It may be a bit difficult to turn around but you should be able to manage it.
